I love snow days. Ask most New Englanders and they will not agree. But I do. Maybe around late February I'm tired of the snow...but right now...I love it. Cary and I are both home today which is nice. Just a lazy day. Yesterday I went out for awhile and went to Trader Joes, browsed Pier One, bought a pair of slip on Bearpaw's (I live in my tan ones) and picked up a few things at Michaels. So today is a home day.

Have some projects I'm working on. I finished one of the mittens for my sister's birthday. I need to cast on and work on the 2nd one today. Her birthday is next Sunday. The race is on. I also worked on my Entrelac scarf since my mom and I have our 2nd class on Thursday. Need to look like I worked on it a little bit! I also did a gauge swatch for my knit-a-long sweater so I can start that when I finish my sister's mittens.

I finished the two cards I posted above today. I am stocking up for a fundraising craft fair I'm doing in March. I hope to do a little at a time. Later today I want to bust open my January Cocoa Daisy kit and work on a few pages so I can finish up my 2009 albums...I have two. Yesterday I bought myself an American Crafts 12x12 D-Ring album for my 2010 album. I don't really scrap chronologically or stress myself out by feeling like I need to scrap everything. And I long ago resolved myself to the fact I'll never be "caught up." And I'm really ok with that. I don't want this to be a stressful thing. It is supposed to be fun. I also got a smaller 8x8 album to scrap smaller moments or thoughts throughout the year.

Well I'm off to start mitten #2.
I think!

Happy snow-day Monday!

Love those mittens! Your cards are beautiful.
I keep hoping for a snow day but alas, no such luck - even with all the snow we had in December. :(
Hope you're well!
HUGS!

Love the mitten. You are such a great knitter! I am teaching a couple of my girlfriends to knit but just the basics! I need to attempt something other than straight rows!
